Medical Weight Loss

Two proven medications, one personalized program

Both are FDA-recognized GLP-1 therapies prescribed by our physician and tailored to your health history, your body, and your goals.

Semaglutide

GLP-1 Receptor Agonist

The original GLP-1 medication that changed weight management. Semaglutide works by mimicking a natural hormone that signals fullness to your brain, helping you eat less without fighting constant hunger.

  • Once-weekly injection
  • Works on one hunger pathway (GLP-1)
  • Gradual dose increases over time
  • Longest track record in weight management

Starting at $199 / month

Higher dosage plan: $249/month

Medication, physician oversight, and ongoing support included

Tirzepatide

Dual GIP/GLP-1 Receptor Agonist

The newest advancement in GLP-1 therapy. Tirzepatide activates two hunger-related pathways instead of one, which can lead to stronger appetite control and more significant results for some patients.

  • Once-weekly injection
  • Works on two hunger pathways (GLP-1 + GIP)
  • Gradual dose increases over time
  • Newer medication with strong clinical backing

Starting at $299 / month

Higher dosage plan: $399/month

Medication, physician oversight, and ongoing support included

Included with every membership

  • Compounded medication
  • Physician review
  • Dose adjustments
  • Pharmacy coordination
  • Shipping to your door
  • Ongoing support

Your treatment plan and dosage are determined by your medical provider following medical review. Pricing may adjust if your prescribed dosage moves into a higher dosage plan.

The Foundation

What both medications have in common

Before comparing differences, it helps to understand what connects them. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide belong to the same class of medications and share the same core approach to weight management.

Same class of medication

Both are GLP-1 receptor agonists, a category of medication originally developed for managing blood sugar that was found to have a significant effect on appetite and weight.

Same weekly routine

Both are administered as a simple once-weekly injection. Dosing starts low and increases gradually, giving your body time to adjust and minimizing side effects.

Same physician oversight

Regardless of which medication you're prescribed, Dr. Morrow reviews your health history, confirms your eligibility, and monitors your progress throughout the program.

Side by Side

How they're different

The biggest difference comes down to how they work inside your body, and why that affects both results and cost.

Semaglutide Tirzepatide
How it works Activates one hunger pathway (GLP-1), which tells your brain you're full sooner and helps reduce cravings Activates two hunger pathways (GLP-1 + GIP), providing dual signaling that can amplify appetite control
Why it works Mimics a natural gut hormone your body already produces, just at a higher, more consistent level Mimics two gut hormones at once, which may help your body respond more strongly to fullness signals
Track record Available longer, with extensive research and widespread clinical use over several years Newer to market, but backed by strong clinical data and growing rapidly in adoption
Dosing Once weekly, with gradual dose increases over the course of treatment Once weekly, with gradual dose increases over the course of treatment
Why the price differs Single-pathway formulation with more established, widely available compounding Dual-pathway formulation that is newer to compound, with higher raw ingredient and production costs
Standard dose 0.25–1 mg · $199/month 2.5–7.5 mg · $299/month

Common Questions

What patients ask most

Can I switch medications after I've started?
Yes. If you and Dr. Morrow decide a different medication would be a better fit based on how your body is responding, you can switch. Your care plan is always flexible.
Is one medication safer than the other?
Both medications have strong safety profiles and are widely prescribed. The most common side effects, primarily mild nausea early on, are similar for both. Dr. Morrow reviews your specific health history to confirm which one is appropriate for you.
Why is Tirzepatide more expensive?
Tirzepatide is a newer, dual-action formulation. The raw ingredients cost more to source, and the compounding process is more complex. The price difference reflects production costs, not a difference in care or service quality.
Do I need to choose before I enroll?
You'll select a preference during enrollment, but it's not a final decision. Dr. Morrow reviews your medical history and may recommend a different option based on what she sees. Think of your selection as a starting point for the conversation.
What's included in the monthly price?
Your monthly membership covers the compounded medication, physician review and dose adjustments from Dr. Morrow, pharmacy coordination, shipping, and ongoing support from our nursing team. There are no hidden fees. Pricing only changes if your prescribed dose moves into a higher dosage plan, and your physician will confirm that with you first.
